Coming back online

So, this site has been a bit quiet due to the busyness of life and other projects.

I've asked my friend Jon Ravenholt (one of the writers for the film "Morning Rain") to become a regular contributor to this blog. He will be contributing his own thoughts, as well as finding stories to share, on the subject of Job and our equivalent modern day experiences. I am going to be focusing on providing stories in video format, and trying to branch out of how I've done these videos previously and pursue a more creative style.

Morning Rain is now part of a larger effort that I'll be detailing in a few weeks with a video from the people involved. But I just want to make it clear that Morning Rain hasn't been forgotten, and is still in development.

More to come...

Wife of Job - A Project: Morning Rain short film

With great pleasure, I present to you the first short film for Project: Morning Rain, "Wife of Job". I'll post a commentary video later.

*SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.* Due to an attempt at putting "Wife of Job" through to film festivals, I've been advised to take this film down from public access for now.

Short film premiere this Saturday

Our first short film for Project: Morning Rain premieres this Saturday at the "Cinegogue" a film group from Vineyard Boise that normally meets in their chapel once or twice a month and watches films, discussing their impact on the culture (don't worry, the group is led by my Dad, Pastor Mike Freeman, the least legalistic man I know).

This Saturday, they'll be watching Tim Burton's "Alice and Wonderland" at 6pm, but first, they'll be the first to see the Project: Morning Rain short film, "Wife of Job" (yes, I figured out the short's title!).

After that evening, the film will be available here. But come see it in person, and hang out with some other film lovers...
